In the annual Industry Advisory Board Meeting industry partners advise the MLSoC in setting, establishing, and retaining its identity, establishing vision, identifying aspirations, goals, and objectives while working with its units to help them set their individual direction and achieve their identity, objectives, and goals. 

At our Awards Banquet we honor exceptional students, staff, faculty, and industry members.

Work with local youth from Belize City's Gateway Center, an intervention facility sponsored by the Ministry of Education to be a transitional program for bringing young people off the streets and back into the mainstream school system. 

• Construct Pavillion Structure for community partner that works with at-risk youth 

• Partnering with Peacework non-profit organization and Belize's ministry of education

The Myers-Lawson School of Construction Career Fair is held twice a year. The Construction Internship and Career Fair provides construction industry and engineering professionals the opportunity to meet students for career employment, summer internships, and co-op opportunities. 

Who Should Attend? 

 • Any company dealing with construction (residential through commerical, industrial, highway, land development, and specialty contractors) and/or civil engineering design should find this career fair worthwhile.
