Degrees offered through the Department of Building Construction

The Department of Building Construction currently offeres an undergraduate and graduate degree. A PhD in Building Construction is pending.The Department of Building Construction at Virginia Tech works with each student to provide direction and ensure growth and stability as degree requirements are completed.

The American Council for Construction Education accredits the BC program at Virginia Tech. The program is also a charter member of the Associated Schools of Construction and Sigma Lambda Chi national scholastic honorary society for construction.

Building Construction is a part of the College of Architecture & Urban Studies. Majors in this college may share high school preparation requirements as well as common coursework at Virginia Tech.
